Israel and Iran exchanged new waves of attacks overnight with new images showing some of Iran’s military bases before and after Israeli strikes. Though Iran’s attacks appear to be slowing, the country’s supreme leader posted on X that now “the battle begins,” and vowed to show “no mercy,” even as its military and infrastructure are being battered. NBC’s Richard Engel reports for TODAY from Bat Yam.
