The conference finals are underway in the 2025 NBA playoffs, and they continue Wednesday night with Game 5 between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Minnesota Timberwolves. The top-seeded Thunder, up 3-1 against the Wolves, have a chance to advance to their first NBA Finals since 2012 with a victory at home in Game 5.
The Indiana Pacers also have a 3-1 over the New York Knicks lead across the bracket in the Eastern Conference finals. The ECF shifts back to Madison Square Garden on Thursday night for Game 5 as the Knicks try to keep their season alive.
The Pacers are back in the conference finals for the second year in a row after taking out the top-seeded Cavaliers in the second round. They’re facing the Knicks, who eliminated the reigning champion Boston Celtics in six games. The Pacers have not made the NBA Finals since 2000, when they beat the Knicks in the East finals. The Knicks have not won the East since 1999… when they beat the Pacers in the East finals.
